Is it just me, or is it that after you have kids you just don’t want to wake up just a little earlier to doll yourself up anymore?

I used to be able to do it, wake up a little bit earlier to do my everyday make-up routine. But now, having 3 little girls to dress up in the morning and do their hair, I just do NOT want to get up earlier for my self. (Not even with coffee!)

So this is not technically my “Everyday Makeup Routine,” this is more of a simpler version of an already simple make up routine. (Hope that makes sense, you’ll understand the more you read!)

Okay, so like I said, this is a Simple SIMPLE Make-Up Routine that I typically use on days that I look like I had no sleep at all & I’m already running late but I still need to put something on my face so I don’t look like a zombie all day.

Normally this is how it goes….

I have a late night catching up on Jane The Virgin on Netflix and before I know it, it’s already 2 in the morning & I have to get up in the next 4 hours.

My alarm goes off at 6am, I don’t wake up until 6:45 & I’m freaking out because now I have to make 2 stops before I actually get to my job (school & the daycare). I quickly throw something on and do a messy bun with my hair & start on my Simple SIMPLE Make Up Routine.

NO PRIMER

NO FOUNDATION

Go straight to concealer to cover my dark circles. I like my concealer to be about one shade lighter than my natural skin tone because sometimes I tend to only use a concealer (okay, fine…most of the time) and it would not look pretty if I have a concealer that is 3 or 4 times lighter. My favorite at the moment is the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer. It’s a really good concealer, I typically apply it on my dark circles and a little on my nose.

Then I have to set my face. I like to go for products that have multiple uses. In this case, the setting powder also comes with a contouring powder. I use the Wet n Wild MegaGlo Contouring Palette. I set my under eyes with the lighter shade and bronze my face with the darker shade. & since I already have that product in my hand, I also use the darker shade as an eye shadow to add a little dimension to my eye lid.

Then I add a little Blush, I don’t have a favorite blush at the moment…I just use whatever I have. The blush I have been using is the one from the Maybelline Face Studio Master Contour, this is another one of those products with multiple uses. I’m using this one for the blush & the highlighter! I actually really like the highlighter in this palette. I add a little on the high points of my cheek bone and on my tear duct.

Even though this is a simple SIMPLE Make Up Routine, I still do my brows. I have done my brows multiple times now so it’s something that can take up a lot of time if I HAD the time, but if I don’t then I just need something to make them look a little more filled in. My favorite brow product at the moment is Milani Stay Put Brow Color. I love that the packaging includes the actual product and a brush with one end being a spool brush & the other end being a normal brow brush.

For my eye lashes, my go-to is always Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara. I always come back to that one.

& for my lips, I do a simple chapstick. I love the EOS Lip Balms.

& that’s the end of my make-up routine. It takes less than 15 minutes for me to do all of this. Once I’m finished, I wake my girls up and get them ready for school & daycare & head out the door.

Hope you enjoyed reading this post! Please comment and include any of your favorite products with multiple uses!
